LIFECYCLE HOOKS
Part 1 of 11
LEARNING GOALS
In this chapter you learn about hooks, which are small pieces of code that run automatically at defined moments in a run.
You will meet pre-execution and post-execution interceptors, and learn about validation hooks, logging hooks, and approval hooks.
You will also learn about a special kind called a continuation hook, which keeps an agent from quitting too early.
Hooks are among the most powerful tools in the harness engineer's toolbox, because they let you add rules and safety without trusting the model to remember them.
