TESTING THE HARNESS ITSELF

Part 3 of 12

INTEGRATION TESTING OF THE FULL LOOP Pieces that work alone can still fail together. Two perfectly built gears are useless if their teeth do not mesh. An integration test checks that several components work correctly together. For a harness, the most important integration test runs the full agent loop end to end. You will recall from earlier parts that the agent loop repeatedly builds context, calls the model, parses the result, runs a tool, and feeds the result back. An end-to-end integration test runs that entire cycle on a sample task.
