TESTING THE RESTART A notes file is only useful if it really lets the agent resume, so we test it. Run the first command below to stop after ten resumes, then run the second to continue. [START OF BASH CODE] # Run a fresh batch that deliberately stops after ten resumes, to simulate a crash python main_loop.py --fresh --stop-after 10 # Run the loop again without the fresh flag, so it skips the ten already-done resumes and continues python main_loop.py [END OF BASH CODE] The second run should print skipping lines for the first ten resumes and then process only resumes 11 through 25. Open progress_notes.md and you should find twenty-five lines when everything is finished, each shaped like DONE resume_03.txt level=partial. The agent has just recovered from a pretend crash using nothing but a text file, which is a beautiful example of keeping state outside the model.
