THE ROLE OF THE AI HARNESS ENGINEER
Part 8 of 14
WHAT A BEGINNER PORTFOLIO LOOKS LIKE
A portfolio is a small collection of work that shows what you can do.
For a beginner harness engineer, the Practice Lab is a natural centerpiece.
A good portfolio entry explains the problem, shows the finished lab, and describes what went wrong and how you fixed it.
The planted bugs in Chapters 65 through 69 give you honest stories to tell.
For example, you can describe how you found the runaway loop, which guard you added, and how the trace proved that the fix worked.
Add your evaluation results with the number of test cases and the pass rate, and say what the tests do not cover.
Reviewers value honest limits far more than inflated claims.
Keep your files tidy and include short instructions so that a stranger can run the project in a few minutes.
Never include real personal data or real secret keys in anything you publish.
