APPENDIX H: RESUME PORTFOLIO BUILDING CAPSTONE PROJECTS

Part 54 of 56

ETHICAL AND PRIVACY REMINDERS Never include real personal data, customer data, or your employer's private material in any file, log, screenshot, or video. Check every screenshot for secret keys, email addresses, folder names that reveal more than you wish, and browser tabs that show private pages. Keep secret keys out of your code and out of your repository history, because deleting a key from a later version does not remove it from the earlier ones. Respect licenses: if you borrow code or text from anywhere, say where it came from and make sure you are allowed to use it. Label every demonstration that uses invented data as invented, and label every mock model as a mock. Tell the truth about what a system can and cannot do, because people may rely on your description when deciding how much to trust AI. If you ever use a real model in a demonstration, say which kind it was, mention that its answers can vary, and never present a lucky run as typical.
