APPENDIX H: RESUME PORTFOLIO BUILDING CAPSTONE PROJECTS

Part 1 of 56

INTRODUCTION TO THIS APPENDIX A resume tells an employer what you say you can do, and a portfolio shows them. Think of the difference between a cook who says "I can bake bread" and a cook who hands you a warm loaf. This appendix gives you five loaves to bake, one at a time, each a little harder than the last. When you finish, you will own five small but real AI harness projects that you can show to an employer, explain in an interview, and describe truthfully on a resume. Part Sixteen of this book built one long project called the Resume Review Agent across Chapters 65 through 69. That project was a practice kitchen, and its job was to teach you the ideas. This appendix has a different job, which is to help you turn the ideas into finished, polished pieces that you can present to other people. The five projects here are new and distinct from the Resume Review Agent. They use different subjects, different file names, and different code, although they practice the same families of skills and they borrow a few ideas from the lab. Where a project borrows an idea, the project says so plainly. You do not need to have finished the Practice Lab before starting, but having done so will make every step feel familiar.
