APPENDIX H: RESUME PORTFOLIO BUILDING CAPSTONE PROJECTS
Part 8 of 56
WHAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CLAIM AFTERWARDS
You built an agent harness from scratch in Python that runs a think, act, and observe loop.
You implemented a permission gate that blocks reads and writes outside approved folders, including attempts to escape using two dots in a path.
You added a step limit and a structured log, and you wrote automated tests that prove the gate and the step limit work.
You designed the harness so that a real hosted or local model can replace the mock by filling in a single function.
Do not claim that you built a production system or that the agent is intelligent, because neither is true of this project.
SKILLS PRACTICED

Building a small tool registry, covered in Chapter 14.
Designing simple, safe tools, covered in Chapter 15.
Enforcing permissions and access control, covered in Chapter 37.
Setting step limits and resource limits, covered in Chapter 25.
Writing structured logs, covered in Chapter 29.
Testing the harness itself, covered in Chapter 35.
