APPENDIX H: RESUME PORTFOLIO BUILDING CAPSTONE PROJECTS

PREREQUISITES AND SETUP You need everything from Project 1, and you need the finished gate.py and tools.py files from that project. You need no new packages and no paid account. Everything is built inside a new folder named project2_context_agent. The finished folder will contain gate.py, tools.py, notes.py, context_manager.py, model2.py, research_agent.py, make_docs.py, test_project2.py, a workspace folder created by make_docs.py, and an output folder created at run time. To run with the mock model you do nothing special. To run with a hosted or local model, set HARNESS_MODEL to hosted and fill in ask_hosted in model2.py so that it receives the context, which is a list of message dictionaries, and returns the same kind of dictionary as in Project 1. In this project the first message in the context is the task, and the second message begins with the words NOTES SO FAR and holds the notes file, so a real model reading the context sees its own notes every turn.
