STRETCH GOALS Replace the character-based size guess with a more careful count and compare the two on your documents. Add a rule that saves the summary text to the notes file whenever compaction happens. Add a second question mode that answers using only the notes and rereads no documents at all. Add a note-quality check that rejects notes longer than two hundred characters. Try a real model and compare how much it compacts and whether it still cites each source.
